How to Transfer SMS from Android to Computer

I want to be able to save Android SMS text messages off of my Android. Is there any way I can do that? I have over 10000 sms in this database. Thanks!.

I have used AST android sms transfer application. Install it in your android phone and then connect your phone to your pc. This app will help you to transfer all sms in one click.

You can try any of the several apps for sms backup available on the app store, here is one for you called sms backup and restore

like other members said there are various tools available but my personnel favourite  B)  B)  B)  B) Android SMS transfer. :rolleyes:  :rolleyes:

I got a way on how to transfer SMS between Android and computer:
Step 1. Launch the program and connect Android phone with computer
Step 2. Export Android SMS to computer

One option, send to email.
Second option, save to your sd card as an xml file and then copy to the computer.
These are just two of the sms backup applications available in the market. Read the reviews and pick the best suited for your needs.
I use Google Voice for SMS so every message is already on Google's servers. If I want to back-up to my PC, I can use Google Take-out. No per message charges and SMS uses very little bandwidth so even a mere 10MB per month is enough for practically unlimited texting.
