Can a mobile phone that supports 3G WCDMA work on a network that supports HSDPA only in the UK. Now I know that HSDPA is just a software upgrade over WCDMA. Apparently not all phones that support 3G WCDMA come with this upgrade which may cause compatibility issues in the UK where networks today need HSDPA enabled software. So, theoretical, if my phones come with WCDMA 3G capabilities but without HSDPA can it be made to work.
