  1. I'm haveing a hard time settings notification sound on my S5 (I use norwegian language so sorry if menu item names may be translated a bit wrong): I set the event notification sound (the pull down event list and the icons in the status line) to a sound like "beep once" The I set the build-in e-mail app notification sound to "you have new mail" (to do that I must first check the mark to show notification in the info/event bar) BUT when a new mail arrives I get no "you have new mail"! I just get a "beep once" (like on all other events). I tried to set the notification sound for events to "none" to see if that overrides the e-mail one. Nope. Now I get no sound at all (neither for e-mail nor for other events). Anyone else noticed this? Am I setting up somthing wrong? Don't say that the e-mail app must be running to give a notification (I have the e-mail widget on the homescreen)? Where do one report a bug like this?
  2. I'd like to use my Galaxy Note I to record videos of my favorite bands. I tried it for the first time not long ago and discovered that there is no audio input leveling so I get great video but the associated audio is a distorted mess (the venues are loud). My friends iPhone 4 did a great job of leveling the sound input and captured a pretty decent video despite a harsh environment. If there are settings I'm unaware of for the Note - or any Android apps that do the trick - please let me know! Surely I'm not the only one with this issue? Thanks in advance for any suggestions you can offer!
  3. Dear Guys, I am a new comer to the Android Comunity. I've been using iPhone for more than three years and just newly bought the Galaxy Note. Everything is perfect except for one thing. I bought My Nissan Altima full option because it had a usb to connect the iPhone to show my play list and control the Music from the Car dashboard. It has a Bose sound system with 9 Speakers! When I tried to connect my Note it didn't show any compatibility at all. Can anyone find a way to show the play list and play the Music through the Sound System itself? if there is any app I can download or a tweak? It already has a USB input to that. Looking forward for your help. Best Regards.
