Dropbox, SugarSync and Google Drive are all cloud storage options to Move files around

You also can use air droid to leverage your wifi network to move files

Then there is always the hardwired way. Take a USB to microusb data cable and connect your smartphone to your PC. Your android should have. A notification saying USB connected. Some require thou to turn on mass storage click on that notification to go to a screen with a green android and a button press the button and the android will be orange and your sd card and smartphone are connected to your computer

Right, the USB cable is the easiest way. When you plug the USB into the phone a tiny little USB symbol will appear in the notification bar at the top of the phone. When you pull down the notification screen there will be an entry that says something like "USB cable attached" or some such. Press that and it will take you to a screen where you can turn on the USB transfer.

Having said that, your pictures are not always in the folder that says "camera" when you are reading your phone as a drive under "Computer" in Windows. Sometimes you have to go into a folder labeled "DCIM" to find them. I honestly never thought to find out what DCIM stands for and don't care. I just know it is where my pictures are. Once in DCIM you will most likely be able to view thumbnails of your photos and drag and drop them, select all and copy them, or highlight+ctrl to select multiple pics to drag and drop, copy to picture folder etc...
