claylof
Recently acquired a Lenovo A1. My first tablet and so far I am quite happy with it. Living in Venezuela, Kindle and Nook bar me from their reading apps and material, but I am able to find my way around the bans fairly easily. Only one I have not been able to outsmart- everywhere I try to download the Nook Android app, it says it is not compatible with Lenovo A1. Any suggestions? claylof
Have not done anything about it, but do not have any problems with any other apps I have tried.
bdfull3r
Some developers are like that. If they can only confirm it to work on devices x y and z then they will write in that app for it to only run on x y and z. Nook recently announced and e-books for the web program that you may want to consider. Also the Amazon Kindle library and is massive and should do for most of your book needs
claylof
Both Amazon and Kindle say they can not sell out of the U.S., but in fact they do. I built up a bit of a library with BN because they were easier to deal with, but now am using Kindle. Am still looking for a way to read the nook stuff on the tablet. I have installed the Aldiko reader, but have not found a way to open the nook books on it (yet).
claylof
In case anyone else is trying this, it turns out to be simple to import the nook books to Aldiko. Home- import from SD card, use your name to sign in, and credit card number as password.
