Hey guys,

I'm new to the android world and just got a new gs3. I was wondering why task managers such as default touchwiz task manager and advanced task manager (3rd party) report dfferent used/free ram from settings->application manager->running. Which is the msot reliable way of knowing how much ram is being used?

For settings -> Application Manager ->running may be showing that an application is taking 10mb while advanced task manager would be reporting 24mb. Which is the more reliable reading? This can be seen especially when opening a large number of apps at the same time

Thanks for any help!!

Regards
