perfection
I have an HCL Y2 tablet running ice cream sandwich which has an HDMI out (mini). I also have a home theater amp and speakers and an SVGA projector. Since HDMI cables carry audio and video, I require to route the video ONLY into the projector for the big screen while channelizing the audo through the 2 pin stereo cable into my home theater amplifier My question is DOES THE HDMI CARRIED OUT AUTO CUT OFF AND ALLOW AN AUDIO OUT FROM THE HEADPHONE SOCKET TO (TAKE PRECEDENCE AND TO0 CARRY THE AUDIO OR DOES IT HAPPEN ANY OTHER WAY? Any setting on the tablet that i may have missed to make the above workable? Thank you
bdfull3r
The way that HDMI works, you would need to either degrade the signal into DVI in order to seperate audio and video OR you can get a AV Hub/Switcher/Reciever lead the HDMI into the reciever and then you have several options on how you want to out put it. Keep in mind switchers can be really expensive.
