softuser
It seems 2.3.6 has an anti background service that stops and caches where you left off in all the apps it stops . I've been having trouble downloading large files via 3g data because the service stops the browser process to "help speed up the phone" but its more of an annoyance than help because most downloads and some apps can't resume after being stopped. Is there an app that forces background processes to stay running bypassing the "ram saver feature"? Or any other way I can stop that service? My phone is straighttalk and not rooted I haven't had luck finding a way to successfuly root it some help here would be nice too please.
maynaard
Do you actually need an app to resume the download?
softuser
No,I need an App that keeps background apparently alive, don't you understand the question/problem "most downloads and some apps can't resume after being stopped." No matter what dl manager is used. I need an App that kills the antibackground feature.
