Hi all,

I bought my wife a Nexus S 4G (spring) phone from ebay, it works fairly well but keeps prompting for the OTA jellybean update. It fails, so I went into recovery mode and tried to install the jellybean update I downloaded, which, to the best of my knowledge, was the correct download for this phone.

The first attachment is the current system info. The second attachment is the error I get.

I've done no mods to this phone, it has Clockworkmod on it, and anything else done on it mod-wise I have no info on.

It doesn't have an SD card, so I had created a folder called 'SDCard', following some advice from a forum. I put the zip file there, then in recovery mode navigated to it and selected. Then the error shown in the second jpeg shows up. It appears to say the file/system/build.prop doesn't exist.

So I'm just wondering how I can upgrade this phone. I'm not very android-savvy, but am a programmer so not shy of digging in.

Thanks for any help,

--Jim
