emikosan
I don't know if anyone else has experienced this but...I've noticed that some of my contacts have gone missing from my contacts list. They still exist in my phone and my settings are set to display all of my contacts (tried both phone and SIM). For example...one of my friend's information disappeared from the contacts list. I had sent her a text message a week ago so I looked in the history and there she was. I was able to edit the contact information and all of her info is still there. Even if I save it again, it will not show up in the contacts list. I don't download a lot of things to my phone and haven't "modified" it in anyway. I do try to keep up with the updates for what I do have on it though. This is very frustrating.
TinaAbbot
Simply use Google's Contact restore function and resync the contact list with Google to get your android contacts back: Go to google contacts> Click More> Click Restore Contacts.....>Tick the duration that you wanted to restore from> Click Restore> Resync your phone with Google
