HELP - Can I Recover Data?

Recommended Posts

I've seen plenty of apps that will allow me to recover my data from the SD card on my Galaxy SII, but I need to know if I can recover data from my phone's drive when it has been 'factory reset'?

I had an issue with my phone and needed to reset it. Now I want to know if data can be recovered?

Thanks a lot

To add on to the last poster, all your contacts should be recoverable from the cloud, and if you had opted for your images to be saved in the cloud as well (via Google+), then that part is recoverable too. However, unless you managed to save your other files thru Drive, Dropbox, Box, or your external SD or desktop's HD, I'm afraid you may have lost those files.

As latest version of Samsung use the internal memory and external SD to save your data, so, if you need to restore lost text message, contacts, you have to first make sure your data recovery can be able to identify your internal memory(RAM), as far as I know, there is no way can do that, but Vibosoft Card data recovery tool, after i tested it, it can restore all of your deleted text message from Samsung galaxy device, or if you need to restore photos, just use some free data recovery, this is free article: http://www.vibosoft.com/disk-utility/recover-deleted-data-from-sd-card.html

you can use a Samsung Galaxy Data Recovery easily recover contacts, messages, photos and video from Samsung Galaxy devices, like Samsung Galaxy S4/S3/S2/S, Samsung Galaxy Note etc.

If your deleted data were not overwritten by the new data, you can scan your phone and try to recover your lost data with Android Data Recovery. If you have backup file, you can recover from backup.

Deleting or emptying your recycle bin does not mean those files are gone forever. But if you want any hope of getting them back, the sooner you act the better. What you need to do is get a data recovery software. With data recovery software you can scan the lower levels of your phone where in many cases the memory remains.

@Maccolar Correct acting fast over the recovery process plays an important role in getting your files back, but what I would like to add up over here is this thread is way to old its been created last year I guess the OP of this question has already sorted out his problem even if he haven't then I think its a little late to advise the OP for using recovery softwares anyway I guess you comments will help ..... :)
