shipra
I'm currently downloading the iPhone SDK and am planning to dive into application development. Can anyone recommend some good starting points for android app development as getting from the start & Having no real background in programming aside from making some adventures on (ZX-81 and MSX), this does sound like I could get started on developing something for my own Android based eBook reader and android app development training even this online course which I came across was https://wiziq.com/co...1-on-1-sessions Professional Android App Development Training | Personalized Learning: Online Course. I am really much worrying though Has anyone tried any online courses so far. Please do provide a light on this also

dappwl
Why would people need a basic understing of android software before learning Android? When I started learning Android programming I knew nothing about the OS. I learned it step by step while learning the features of my phone at the same time. So shipra, find some good novice tutorials and get to it.There are many great websites. The hardest time you'll get at first is to get used to how objects are aligned in the layouts but after that Android programming is easy. Just don't forget that you cannot test everything in the emulator. I suggest you always test on your phone, I find it much easier, faster and reliable.
