remoticboy
I recently bought a Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 P3100. It has 1 GB ram and 16 GB of internal memory. But once I installed many apps (social apps like whatsapp, facebook and games like need for speed most wanted, etc) and added some music and movies to the memory, it was getting a bit less responsive as it was earlier. Only 770 MB ram is shown and almost 80-85% is used all the time. I have 2 questions all together.1. Should I buy a Class 10 memory card for my tab so that I can move all my media and apps to the sd card and keep the internal memory free totally? will that in any chance improve the performance of my tab?2. Even though they say 32 GB of external memory is supported, I'm a bit suspicious and was planning to buy a 16 GB Class 10 memory card. Am I wrong here? John Dave
I don't think buying a new class10 memory card will make difference but i rather prefer you to download memory booster apps from the play store.   Yes if your planning for 16gb memory card, I don't think tablet is not going to slow down. you can go on with purchasing 16gb card.  B)
crosslad
My Tab 2 has really slowed down since the update to 4.2. In particular the screen has become very unresponsive. I am not sure if it is the screen or just the software that is lagging. Has anyone got any ideas? It is the Tab2 7.0 with 8gb ram.
John Dave
Okay you have updated to 4.2 and its more lagging ... i have heard this news from most of the sources that 4.2 is lagging in tab2 that's why Samsung is not updating in most of the regions i think you should downgrade to Android 4.1.2 as it consumes less battery power, gives more performance.... or what you can do is wait for some major bug fixes on 4.2.2 as officials confirmed that they are working on improving the performance but still nothing can be said.
