dougfly
Hi all, I'm trying to consolidate a bunch of old backups into one on my new Google Nexus 5. Basically what I did was use Android File Transfer (for Mac) to copy everything from my Galaxy Nexus (virtual SD card as the Galaxy Nexus doesn't have an SD card slot) onto my Mac's Hard Drive. I also previously did this for my Nexus S. I've managed to backup my SMS and Call Records (with backup utilities) and have just used file transfer to bring my photos and videos from the DCIM folder. When I look at the gallery view on my Galaxy Nexus, however, I see additional photos than the ones I see in gallery view on my new Nexus 5. I've used a file exploring program (ES file explorer) to search by .jpg and .mp4 and have found some discrepancies between the 2 phones. Any ideas on how I can confirm all the photos and videos make it over? thanks
John Dave
No there is nothing much you can do other than by confirming, the pictures one by one !!
