Water Damage Indicator not set off?

if my galaxy s3 has suffered from water damage, but the indicator on the battery but not device was set off, could i just buy a new battery and send my phone back to samsung for "internal" damage if the phone still turns on

Well @vhornberger I would say it would be better to send your device back to samsung to check for any internal damage because later on you'll get onto trouble...... well I have one best option for you dried your device completely by soaking it in the rice or by putting it inside a bag of silica gel and keep it there for almost a day this will ensure that your phone gets dried up and after then put the battery on and try starting it if its working then I don't think that there is a need to send it to the samsung.  ;)

it works but the battery dies super fast and the camera, all speakers, and phone dont work!

Well, It looks your device is just damaged by the water better would be to replace the battery, camera and all the speakers. Well, why don't you go to the nearest service centre ? I think they are going to fix it for you !!
