Dellboy67
For the last couple of days my calendar app has refused to open - I've tried uninstalling updates & then re-installing. I've removed the cache & data - nothing works. I've also tried 3rd party calendar apps but they won't work either! - presumable they all work off the back of the built in android app... Can anyone give me a clue please?
Dellboy67
Have uninstalled to factory settings and can now get into the app but even though it recognises my Google acct in settings I cannot access my calendar. When I click on my email address its states that there are no calendars... I've also tried "adding" an acct ie the same address but still says no calendars! John Dave
Well, @Dellboy67 try going to the Settings>accounts and click over the gmail make sure that synch is enabled for the calendar.
Dellboy67
The calendar wasn't available in settings so I couldn't sync, despite removing and adding the account several times. In the end I reset to factory settings and it's now ok.

Well, that's a extreme solution factory resetting your device just to access anyway if that has solved your problem I think factory resetting worth for you. Dellboy67
There is no calendar sync setting! Have now had to raise the white flag and reset the whole device - it now all works but I've no idea why the calendar suddenly disappeared....
