SFBuzz
Hello All - I'm hoping there's experience here when it comes to which phone has the best hotspot (tethering) performance. I have Verizon unlimited data plan and my current Moto Droid is suffering from battery issues. I'm choosing between Verizon's Motorola Droid MAXX or the HTC One (M8). But which has the best throughput when the hotspot is active? The hotspot will have about 2 active connections (tablet and laptop) and performance is important. Is there a first choice consensus about which of these 2 phones rock when it comes to tethering hotspot performance over 4G LTE? Thanks... -Buzz
John Dave
Well, when it comes to to hotspot tethering I would say both of them are good at it but what alerts me more is the release i.e. Verizon's Motorola Droid MAXX is a year old device and if I talk about HTC one M8 then its a new one i.e. we can can say it is just released. So defiantly i am in favour of HTC one M8, what give me a point of alter is M8 is powered by 2600 mAh battery but Droid MAXX has 3500 mAh. So some where I fell in terms of battery power the there might be some ..... I am somewhat unclear but as said new one is much better than the older one so, I'll go for HTC one M8 and will suggest you the same.
