newdude1
i have two virgin mobile phones. both are separate $35/mo prepaid unlimited data plans detailed here: http://www.virginmobileusa.com/cell-phone-plans/beyond-talk-plans/overview/ phone 1: LG Optimus V phone 2: LG Volt on both phones, i have the FoxFi app installed so that i can use the phones as a wifi hotspot for my computer. the app does work on the older Optimus V. it does NOT work on the much newer Volt. when i try it on the volt I get an error message that says "Network error: Unable to connect to data network. You may not be subscribed to the data plan for Hotspot and USB tether service. Please contact your phone company." any idea why FoxFi would work on the Optimus V and not the Volt even though they are both signed up for the same plan? and is there another hotspot generator app you suggest that would work with the Volt and my plan? please advise. thanks in advance! Well, I think there might be some problems with the data settings over your device ! I would also suggest the same try contacting the support of your phone company I am sure they are going to help you out way more better than ! Well, I didn't think that would raise a red flag I would say if you are not allowed to do that they will let you know otherwise they will tell you the trick ! But I still I don't think that would raise a red flag I would say why they will ??? You are not doing any....
