i5sec0ndz
Hello everyone,I have a Samsung Galaxy S4 (GT-I9505), with latest update 4.4.2 KitKat.After i am restarting my phone, the unlock buttons on screen are changing position. If i am tapping my Sim PIN according to the position of buttons, it says wrong PIN. After 3 fails i have to enter the PUK code (which is normal) .. However, if i am tapping the PIN where the buttons should be, works like a charm. I have to mention that i have no problems with keyboard in sending messages, writing emails, landscape or portrait orientation, no problems with the digitizer, no problem at all. Only on the unlock screen.Second issue is with Viber, an issue that me and many people i know encounter. When you want to end the Viber call, and the screen is locked, you can't. The screen is black and not responding to the home button press or lock/unlock button. The soft keys are lit but nothing happens.Any ideeas for those issues? Thank you!P.S. (first print screen with problem, second one with correct position. On the wrong screen you can see that between the rows there is less space, message, clock, date and alarm are missing)
John Dave
Well, I was looking over the screen shot from a while but I couldn't spot any visible difference over the keys you are talking about, and yes the difference which is visible to me is just the first screen doesn't have mobile network available and because of that clock and other information is not visible and over the other screen shot mobile network is available and so is the clock and the other information over the lock screen. And the next problem viber I guess you should try clearing the cache and the data stored by the viber application and if that doesn't work then I think you may need to drop an email directly to the developer as this problem can only be solved by the developer end this may be because of some unseen bug left. i5sec0ndz
Hello Dave, Thank you for the reply! For the Viber issues, i don't know what to do more regarding the cache cleaning. I am using Clean Master app and i think it is doing it. Anyway, i sent an email to the developer but still no reply. Anyhow, that's a minor issue comparing to the first one. This thing occurs after each and every restart i perform on the device.

Well, I guess you should at least give it a shot by clearing the cache and the data stored by the viber app by heading over to the Settings>application manager>Viber> Clear the Cache and the data stored. I know you are using the app Clean master to clear the junk files but I don't think that app is going to clean down all of it ! I would say better give it a try otherwise you could wait a bit more while to see if developers has something to talk about !
androidbabbles
Most Android devices running at least Android OS 4.0 offer five different security options to lock your display. In addition to drawing a pattern, you can slide a finger across the screen, use facial recognition technology, or enter a PIN or password to unlock it. Device manufacturers may label options with slightly different names, but functionality should be fairly uniform across brands.
John Dave
@androidbabbles I didn't get that what is the use of mentioning this point over here ?? I don't think that it's going to help @OP in any way nor it makes any sense ??
