ckildegaard
Hello everyone. How are you all doing? I hope this is the right place for this thread. If not, please feel free to move it. I just got my first Android phone yesterday, and I'm very excited. However, I've come across my first little problem. I have found (or remembered from when I had a good friend with an Android phone) that Google seems to think if your phone is turned on, you should be shown as "Available" on Google Talk/Google Hangouts/GMail. The problem is, I'll be taking classes, teaching music lessons, sleeping, doing things with family, etc. I do not want to be "online" constantly. Rather, I want to be "online" when I'm actually around to talk to people. Any way to solve this? Whatever advice you can give would be helpful. masterchat
You may turn your wifi access or mobile data off.
John Dave
Well, like other members said what you can do is switch the data/wifi connection off and it will not show you online ! If you swipe your finger from the top you can see the shortcut which allows you to turn the data/wifi connection off. :)
