error on android sdk

I am new to the android app development.i am trying to set the environment dor the app development.I am trying to open the Android SDK.However,it's showing an error stating: "

 

 

Failed to fetch URL

https://dl-ssl.google.com/android/repository/addons_list-1.xml, reason: Unknown Host dl-ssl.google.com

Fetched Add-ons List successfully

Failed to fetch URL

https://dl-ssl.google.com/android/repository/repository-5.xml, reason: dl-ssl.google.com

Done loading packages.

"

can anyone please help me to resolving this issue.

 

NOTE:i am trying to setup the environment on WINDOWS SERVER 2003

I've had this issue before as well. Usually I can fix it by uninstalling and reinstalling the SDK. However I've also fixed it the following way. Since you are installing on Windows, it is likely that you have your SDK under 'C:\Programs'. On Windows 7, running stuff from that folder requires you to be admin. So you have to go to the SDK Manager, right click, and run as admin and it works. I don't remember if the right click run as admin shows up on Server 2003 but I think you can set it to run as admin by right clicking the SDK Manager and choosing the option in Properties.
