Each of my Andriod phone can not used for over a year.

Mostly, after the first half year, then it becomes slower and slower, and the bacatery is getting poor then I have to charge it every several hours.

So I have to change a new Android phone almost every year.

I used cheaper one before,  then I wondered if I buy an expensive one , shall it will be better, but fianly it proves that, it's still the same, cannot survive for over a year.

OMG, I think I'll have to chage an iOS phone next time.

i think no matter which phone, as the time goes by, it will has smaller and smaller storage and poorer performance. but some brand phones will be better, like xiaomi, i think, etc. as to the ios system, it also will have poor battery if you use it frequently every day, because mine is poor in half yeah after i bought it.

my first phone was ZTE bar phone, when I was in school.

and then I changed it with HUAWEI smartphone after graduating from school, it had lasted for 2 years.

last year, I replaced it with OPPO smartphone.

but now I am using OUKITEL K10000.

regarding the most durable phone, I think it's the bar phone. smartphone always can't survive for more than 3 years.

regarding the best, I don't know. but I like OPPO best.  and then it's the K10000, which is the world's first long battery smartphone, I don't need to charge it every day.

My current Android phone is 2.5 years old and it works great. I guess that in your case you have not much RAM. And after OS upgrade it become slower.

In Android case it is not important how expensive it is, but it is very important how much RAM does it has and how big is internal storage.

It actually depends on the user, my Alcatel Flash 2 is still working fine and I have it since December 2015. I know how to take good care of my mobile device. My iPhone 4s is still working fine and I have it for 6 years now. So as my iPad 2. It really depends on how will you take good care of the device.

When I was in high school, I used Nokia for 1 year, and then changed to LG for 2 years.

Now I graduated and I'm using Meizu MX5 for almost 2 years.

I find out that almost of the android phones cannot stand for 1 year. After 1 year, they get slowly because its storage is getting full. No matter how many times you clean the memory, it still work slowly. I think this might be the common problem of android phones.

But luckily, we can change new phone every year.  ;)
