One way I found that pretty easy is to add that gmail account that all your data are backed up from Android to your iPhone and they should sync down to your phone or add it in iTunes. Another is  using Android to iPhone Transfer to transfer data from Android to iPhone. Just one click, the content will be switched between two phones.

This method is really great.

When upgrading from one iPhone to another, transferring your existing data and settings to your new device is easy. But, when you're faced with the task of moving content from an Android phone to an iPhone, the process can be a bit trickier.

Although you can't transfer some operating system-dependent things like text messages and call history, it is possible to move your contacts, files, photos, and videos from your Android to your iPhone.

You can only transer photo, videos, contacts, messages from Android to computer, you cannot transfer apps, games, settings or other android-basied program due to the incompatibilities between iOS and Android.

If you have a Googlemail or Gmail account on the Android phone, and you contacts are stored there you could just set up the same account on the iPhone using the Exchange mail option, and it should pull through all your contacts.

in fact, iPhone can not transfer data directly to Android. Someone says that we can transfer data from Android to iPhone or in turn via email, iCloud, even iTunes. but you must backup data from iPhone via iCloud or email on PC. then transfer them to Android via USB. I provide a way to transfer music from iPhone to Android, and U can follow to move other files.

1. Set up iCloud both on iPhone and also laptop. Set up the Windows edition if your PC is with Windows OPERATING-SYSTEM.

2. Start the Synchronize feature of the iCloud in the iPhone options.

3. Sign in the iCloud with the Apple ID on the laptop, and you can to control your iPhone data files at this point.

4. Pick the music in your iPhone and synchronize them in your Computer's iCloud, if you like to put them in selected folders, you’re able to down load the music to your local folder.

5. Transfer music which is on PC to Android Phone via USB.

However, the method above is a bit trouble, you can also try some software to transfer data from Android to iPhone or transfer in turn such as Phone Transfer. that also work well..

Yes, I have the Gmail on my Android phone, but I am a newbie to iPhone 5S and  can you provide more details of the methods? I want to transfer the contacts from Samsung to iPhone 5s :) Thanks!
